Moon through the Leaves

The inspiration for the decoration on this sycamore bowl was a long time coming. It was airbrushed with an autumnal palette over which I air brushed a dark greeny-black to give the impression of looking up through the leaves into the night sky. The moon is an airbrushed disc of copper. Three of the applied leaves are textured, painted copper and the other three were pierced from a small sycamore bowl that got crushed after a demonstration! (waste not, want not). Diameter approximately 28cm.
